Teen Advisory Board

Calling all teens!

We invite you to be a part of our Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting held on the 1st Saturday of every month at 3:00 PM! TAB is an exciting platform for teens aged 13-18, where you can develop valuable professional skills, actively contribute to shaping our young adult community at the library, and play a creative role in influencing our diverse range of programming. Don't miss this chance to make your mark and have your voice heard!

Being a TAB member involves:

  • TAB provides opportunities for teens to connect with fellow book lovers and gain service hours.
  • Looks great on college applications and job resumes.
  • Helping Linebaugh Library's Youth Services Department implement quality young adult programming (book displays, events, clubs, and more!)
  • Gaining valuable skills through library service.
  • Networking with library staff for professional recommendations.
  • Building a young adult community and making friends at the Linebaugh Library!
  • Is an opportunity to have a lot of fun.

Purpose of TAB:

TAB is a board of teens and their fellow book lovers that discuss, plan, create, develop and help execute programs for Linebaugh’s young population. This offers teens in our city an opportunity to help create and execute fun programs and events for Linebaugh, while building connections within the community and building relationships with peers.

Application:

We are actively looking for intrested teens (13-18) to join our community and take a lead in co-creating programs with the Youth Services Staff. If interested, fill out the application online here: Online Application .
