The Murfreesboro Writers Group is a group of local writers who seek to improve their work through mutual critique. They meet every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor Conference Room at Linebaugh Library. Anyone interested in writing is welcome to join a meeting to see if you'd like to be a part of the group. You might hear science fiction, poetry, alternate reality, memoir, fantasy, mystery, literary fiction, or more. The Technology Engagement Center (TEC) is proud to host free High School Equivalency Test classes (HiSET) every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. This class is sponsored by Rutherford County's Adult Education and Workforce Essentials programs.

These tests "include elements that allow individuals to demonstrate their high school-level proficiency and readiness for higher education or the workplace. Multiple-Choice tests in Reading, Math, Writing, Science, and Social Studies, as well as one written argumentative essay, must be passed.  Students may take the tests on the computer or with paper/pencil" (RCSchools, 2022).

Orientations are  REQUIRED for using the TEC's 3D printers. 

Covers the basics of 3D printing.  Includes best practices, basic procedures, policies, and an overview of the software.
The event occurs on Sundays.
