Observe the Moon Night @ the TEC

Members of the public are invited to celebrate International Observe the Moon Night on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 5:30. The free event will be held at the Technology Engagement Center (TEC), 306 Minerva Drive in Murfreesboro.

International Observe the Moon Night is an annual worldwide public event that encourages observation, appreciation and understanding of our Moon and its connection to NASA planetary science and exploration. The annual event connects scientists, educators and lunar enthusiasts from around the world.

The event at the TEC will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 and will include a High-tech Story Time, Lunar Virtual Reality, craft activities and food truck Freeze Warning.

After the sun sets, head outside and catch a glimpse of the Moon. The MTSU Astronomy Club will be in front of the TEC with telescopes, providing a guided tour of the Moon, planets and other celestial objects for visitors.
