If it’s been a while since you’ve been to the library, things have changed! Linebaugh Public Library, the main branch of the Rutherford County Library System has been transformed since 2018, and Branch Librarian Carol Ghattas invites everyone to come in to see what’s been happening.
When the doors open on Tuesday, January 29, at 9 a.m., staff will be welcoming those who haven’t yet seen the new layout and upgrades. Library associates will be available from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. to give tours and share about the many changes in the library’s layout. Light breakfast snacks will also be served during that time.
Visitors will be able to see the newly expanded Children’s section, Teen study area, and media area on the first floor. The second floor shows off new public computers, study space and Fiction and Non-Fiction materials. Through a visit to the library, you’ll also learn that they have free Wifi, notary service, a driver’s license renewal kiosk, fax, copier, and many more services.
The public is encouraged to come and see the great things happening at Linebaugh Public Library.
