Friends of the Smyrna Library received a $3000.00 grant from the Rotary Club of Smyrna, TN. The Friends will use the award funds to purchase an AfterSchool Edge computer from AWE Learning for the Smyrna Public Library. "The AfterSchool Edge is ideal for enrichment, intervention, homework help and skill reinforcement." This fun and educational device will be located in Smyrna Library's children's department.
Friends of Smyrna Library (FOSL) is a 501© (3) nonprofit organization formed to promote the Smyrna Library and its activities through special programs, exhibits, and materials beyond regular resources of the library.
