2022 Harry Nelson Winter Reading Program at Linebaugh

WRP2022
Article Date
January 5, 2022

Resolve to read! Linebaugh Public Library will hold the third annual Harry Nelson Memorial Adult Winter Reading Program from January 23 - March 5, 2022. Linebaugh’s program honors the memory of one of its regular patrons, Harry Nelson.

Patrons are challenged to meet a goal of reading and reviewing at least six books over the course of the program. That’s six books in six weeks or a book each week. All formats are accepted and count toward the goal of six books. Patrons may sign up for the program beginning January 16 either by coming to Linebaugh in person or emailing harrynelsonwrp@rclstn.org.

Each week, one reviewer will be randomly selected to receive a free book. Reviews can either be turned in personally or emailed to harrynelsonwrp@rclstn.org

At the conclusion of the program, every person who has met the goal will be awarded a gift card from Simply Pure Sweets. They will also receive a waiver for up to $5 in library fines.

One person completing six reviews will receive a Grand Prize of a $100 gift card from Country Gourmet. The name of the winner will also be engraved on a plaque that’s displayed in the library year-round.

The 2021 Harry Nelson Memorial Winter Reading Program is sponsored by The Friends of Linebaugh Library.
