Dear Friend and Supporter of the Rutherford County Library System,
I would like to invite you to join us in support of our second annual fundraiser for the Rutherford County Library Foundation. Last year was a great success and with your help we can make this year’s event even better. Proceeds from this year’s event will be used, in conjunction with other funding, to complete the purchase of a new bookmobile to replace the existing unit that is no longer serviceable.
This year’s event will be an outdoor affair consisting of food, music, and a silent auction and will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 6-9 p.m. at the historic Lively House at 746 East Main Street in Murfreesboro. Parking will be available across the street at Central Magnet School.
The Rutherford County Library Foundation was created in 2001 as a means to fund longterm projects for the Rutherford County Library System (RCLS) beyond the scope of available public monies. Our goals are to enhance library services, be recognized as a venue for potential donors, maximize return on investments, and have a vehicle in place to aid future capital projects, an example of which would be branch libraries in growth areas of our county.
RCLS is comprised of six (6) branches and a bookmobile, serving the greater Rutherford County Community. RCLS receives funding from three cities (Eagleville, Murfreesboro and Smyrna) and Rutherford County and is governed by the RCLS Board of Directors.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at john.t.trail@gmail.com or 615-605-1043 or any member of this foundation.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
